In the first innings of the second Test match against West Indies, Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah took three successive wickets and recorded his career-best bowling figures (6/16). The star bowler owes his hat-trick to skipper Virat Kohli as the latter decided to review an LBW decision even when he was not sure about it. In a video released by BCCI Bumrah said, “I was not very sure of the appeal. I thought it hit the bat. But it was a good review in the end. I think I owe the hat-trick to the captain”. Following Harbhajan Singh and Irfan Pathan, Jasprit Bumrah is the third Indian to register a hat-trick in Test cricket.
