The Delhi Police Special Task Force (STF) of South-East district arrested four gangsters hailing from Haryana on Tuesday. These gangsters are reported to be dreaded gangsters.Four firearms, 16 cartridges, one magazine, one SUV robbed in Haryana, one sedan stolen from Delhi were recovered from their possession.On August 28, the STF laid a trap to nab the accused. Soon a police team intercepted a car using barricades. They came across two persons sitting in the car. The driver was of the car was identified as Jagdeep Mor and the co-passenger as Rahul.Arms and ammunition were recovered from both of them.
When he was taken for interrogation he told the police that he hails from Narwana in Jind, Haryana. He told the cops that he was a hockey player and that he had represented Haryana in National Hockey Championships.Jagdeep was also pursuing a Bachelor of Physical Education in 2015 from Kurukshetra University but after his brother was murdered, he left academics and joined the world of crime.One accused and the leader of Jagdeep Mor Gang was released from jail in 2018. He formed his own gang after he left Satbir Jabbal Gang. He, for his Jagdeep Mor Gang, recruited several criminals.Accused Jagdeep Mor used to create panic and fear amongst rival gangs by putting up photos and videos of firearms on social media.Jagdeep Mor was first time arrested in 2016 under Arms Act case.After Jagdeep was released from jail he got actively involved in criminal activities to wipe out his rivals and was involved in several shootout cases.In 2017, he was re-arrested by the Narwana police for four-hit jobs.
