Pakistan’s Prime Minister on Wednesday-18th December 2019 said that Pakistan government will not have any bilateral talks with India until the curfew and restrictions are not lifted in Jammu & Kashmir.
Since the scrapping of Article 370 by the Indian Government , Khan has been vocal against India, and also he had said earlier that is “no question of talk with India”. Since then Pakistan is seeking support from the international community to back their stand.
Though India has reiterated several times that its decision to abrogate Article 370, which granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir, was done with respect to Constitutional guidelines.
Scrapping of Article 370 would be beneficial for the people living in Jammu& Kashmir and also people there could have a better standard of living , Which was explained by Indian envoys. Irrespective of several explanations and Statements, Pakistan Government tends to attack Indian Government over the issue of Kashmir.
Following Union External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar’s statement on PoK, Imran Khan warned New Delhi against making such “irresponsible and belligerent” statements as it could lead to further escalation.
