After the ISIS founder and one of the top ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was killed in the raid carried out by the US military special forces, his remains were disposed of at the sea by the Navy.
Muslims bury the dead in the land without a casket. So, the reason being such a disposal? Well, having the body buried in land would have the risk of the word spreading, and it would open the possibility of becoming a shrine- something that the world’s most notorious terrorist leader does not deserve in all certainties. There is no details revealed as to which US Navy ship was used to carry and dispose the body of Abu Bakr.
As per the officials and the reports, a similar procedure was followed in disposing of the remains of the al-Queda founder Osama bin Laden.
Abu Bakr was killed in the secret US military raid that was done targeting his safe compound in the Nort-west Syria this weekend. The death was confirmed by US president Donald Trump himself as well as the authorities on Monday.
