The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the online applications for the Joint Entrance Examination Main 2020 today. JEE Main is conducted for engineering as well as architecture aspirants. The application release date was postponed from September 2 to September 3, however may the reason for the delay is not known. The exam schedule remains unchanged while the exam pattern changes. The online registration began from 11 am, before making the link active NTA brought changes to the exam pattern. So now, instead of two exams — one for admission to BArch and other for BTech, there will be one more exam for admission to BPlan or Bachelors in Planning. The number of questions is reduced from 30 to 25, 20 MCQs and 5 long-form questions based on numerics will be added along with a new test on BPlan. The last date of applying for the exam might be extended but as of now the end date of receiving applications is September 30. The examination will be held from January 6 to 11, while the second examination is scheduled to be conducted from April 3 to 9, 2020. Candidates can apply at jeemain.nic.in or nta.ac.in.
